Jaxon Went to Kindergarten!

Well, mama's kindergarten class, that is. I decided to take Jaxon with my class on our field trip to the library and fire station. Every few minutes on our walk there he would ask, "Mama, where is fi-ah ta ton?" (Mama, where is fire station?) He was a good boy as long as I kept the snacks coming on his stroller tray. Other than peeing through his diaper on his jeans (and my shirt), everything went well!

We got to go on the swings while we waited for the firemen to get ready for our tour.

Listening to the children's librarian at the library. I told Jaxon to sit "criss cross applesauce" and he obeyed...for all of 30 seconds.

Jaxon liked when the fireman put on his helmet

Bikinis and Boardshorts

We went swimming at Papa and Amma's house on Sunday. (oops,the date is totally wrong on the pictures). Kendall only wore her bikini for only 30 minutes and then she got fussy and needed a nap. Jaxon just played and swam all day with Daddy and had a blast! I wish I would have taken more pictures! When Jaxon saw Kendall's bathing suit top on the couch he told me, "Here is baby's bra, mama."

Our sweet baby Kendall turns seven months old today. Still no hair...she will have to wear headbands with bows and flowers until kindergarten!

Helping Daddy Again

At the mere mention of helping Daddy wash the boat, Jaxon was chomping at the bit. That was all he could talk about. He only came inside to ask me for a snack and to tell me, "I have poop". The rest of the day he spent helping Daddy with the boat, which has been sitting all winter.

By the way, anyone want to buy this fabulous piece of fiberglass? If you act fast, it can be yours for the low, rock bottom price of just $60,000!! For all I know, the engine alone is probably worth millions. (I hide clothes from my husband that I buy; he hides boat engines) Also included are countless hours of family fun on the river and my husband's hopes and dreams all rolled into one! But beware: if you do buy our boat, you might see my husband running after you in tears, screaming, "Come back! Come back!"

Driving and posing.

This kid will not sit still for one minute.

My Bathing Beauty

Kendall can finally take a bath sitting up and play with toys. She likes her baths these days as opposed to when she was a newborn!

Our Little Worker

I came home from an errand and Jaxon was soaking wet. He was being Dad's little shadow as usual! As Jaxon explained he was "Wa Wa the Dewey!" In Jaxon Language that means, "Wash the Dually" Since Jaxon was born with mild hearing loss, his hearing aides are to help with speech. We were worried when he was a baby that he might have a major speech delay and/or problems but so far he has been doing really well. In fact, he literally won't stop talking from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep! I know I will forget some of his cute pronunciations if I don't write them down. There are a lot more, but it's hard to remember!

Snowman= Homo-man

Craft= Crap (What did you make in church, Jaxon? He tells us "A crap!")

Mema= MiMi

Grammy=Amma

Grandpa=Gra Gra Pa

Salami=Ta momie (Dad gave him salami, not me!)

Lemonade=meh meh made

Grandma Nona=Amma No No

Uncle Ryan=Uh Uh Ra Ra

We Made It!

It was so hard to go to work and miss my babies! But we all survived. The week was pretty uneventful. Jaxon managed to eat a little Desitin (on one of the days Daddy was watching the kids!), Kendall cut her first two teeth and she sat in the shopping cart like a big girl for the first time. She did not like her BLUE seat cover, but with this economy, she'll have to get used to some of big brother's hand me downs!
