Anniversary Weekend

Jason and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary by going to Palm Springs for the night. The kids stayed with my parents. My brother Craig and sister-in-law Liza came as well as my brother -in-law Ryan and his girlfriend Lisa too. We had a yummy dinner and we even went dancing!

River Trip!

We went to the river this past weekend with my family. We decided to leave Kendall with Amma since it was soooo hot...over 120 degrees! Jaxon had a great time. He loved the driving the boat with Daddy, loved the hotel and had fun playing with his cousins.

4th of July

We had a very nice 4th of July at my mom's house. The kids took a nap and I got to lay out by the pool for a few hours which is always a treat. We barbecued and the kids had to be very patient so it was finally dark enough to do fireworks!

I had the kids pose in their outfits a few weeks ago. Jaxon made the flag in preschool.

The night before the 4th, it was pretty warm, so before bath time, I let them have ice cream cones on the front porch...and yes, Kendall is only wearing a diaper...a little trashy but who cares?! It's summer time after all!

Our LITTLE Girl

Last week at Kendall's doctor appointment for her regular shots, she weighed 22 lbs 4 ounces and was 34 inches long...she is only in the 12th percentile for weight! (but 90th for height)

She's super petite but her doctor said she's perfectly fine. I looked in Jaxon's baby book and he was the same size as Kendall when he was only 9 months old! Lately she is talking a lot and loves to take care of her baby dolls.

In the last week or so she also decided ALL BY HERSELF to go potty and poop on the potty chair! She doesn't even turn 2 until October so I am not going to push her. We have plenty of time for potty training!


Jaxon said "I will wait with you Kendall so you can go poop!" He probably remembers the MILLION times we had to wait with him while he sat on the pot.

Daddy and Jaxon's Camping Trip

Jason and Jaxon met Uncle Ra-Ra for a night of camping at the beach. I THOUGHT they were going to sleep in a tent, but Jason and Jaxon slept in the back of the work truck with and Easy Up over them!!

Jaxon was sooooo excited to camp and he talked about the trip for days and days after they came home.
