A Visit With GG

Today we went to visit Jason's Grandma Rose. She is also known as GG for Great-Grandma to my kids!

She fixed us a scrumptious Italian lunch and we had fun talking and playing with the kids. She ALWAYS has little gifts for Jaxon and Kendall when we see her and today was no exception! Between his Amma and GG, Jaxon got a fishing pole, coloring books, crayons and a bubble machine and Kendall came home with a teddy bear and an outfit!

Kendall ended up matching her GG in a black and white outfit, but Kendall was a little fussy for her pictures. Thank you GG for such a nice day!

We went to a restaurant that had a lady that was painting kids faces...Kendall likes her flower!

They are still a little young for this, but my kids actually played together!

**Notice Jaxon is wearing UNDERWEAR! He has been going potty in the potty chair!! Yay!!

Happy 8th Month Birthday Kendall

Baby Kendall Rose turns 8 months old today. She is going through her first cold but she posed for pictures like a little model anyway! My friend Tamara gave this REALLY cute blanket for my shower (that her mom made) so I decided to use it to lay a naked baby on! I was trying to hurry so Kendall wouldn't pee on the cute blanket and we got a few cute pictures (even with Jaxon trying to interupt every second saying, "Mama, I want to lay on Mama's bed!")

Kendall is such a happy, smiley baby. She is my precious baby girl and her first 8 months have gone by so fast. You can't help but smile when you look at her because she is just SO CUTE with her super chubby cheeks and blue eyes. Her new thing is to try and reach out and "get" Jaxon when he is near her and he says, "Mama, baby is getting me!"

Taking Care of Baby

Baby Elmo, that is. Jaxon insisted I help him put Baby Elmo in Kendall's car seat. (strapped in properly, of course) He kept saying, "Hi Baby Elmo!" over and over again and playing with it. Whatever keeps him busy!

Girl's Night Out

These 6 mommies got a much needed night out Saturday night. Between us, we had a total of 18 kids! It was so much fun to catch up, laugh and talk about old times. (whoops, wrong date on pic!)

Jaxon's New Job

Jaxon came in from the garage with Daddy to show me this and say,

"Mama, I'm a wadah man!"

Scary Morning!

This morning I was busy getting stuff ready for the day. I have to try to be out the door with both kids by about 7:30, so I can take the kids to Mema's and get to work (it's my last week...yay!)

Anyways, I set Kendall in her excersaucer, (which she goes in every day) and was in the kitchen only a few feet away. I heard her jumping and bouncing as usual,when all of the sudden..."AHHHH!" Kendall HAD FALLEN OUT OF HER EXCERSAUCER ONTO THE TILE FLOOR!! She was on her tummy and screaming. I ran to her and picked her up. At this point, I'm crying, she's hysterical, and Jason comes running out to see what all the commotion is. Kendall turned out to be FINE and was not hurt at all, thank God! I had no idea a baby could actually bounce out of an excersaucer like that! We figure that she was jumping so much, leaned over and slid out onto her tummy. Those things need seatbelts:)

Weekend Update

On Saturday we went Cousin Cameron's birthday/6th grade Graduation party. Jaxon loved the spa. Notice Jaxon's new BUZZ HAIRCUT! Daddy decided to shave it all off...but we are going to let it grow again to his traditional spikes after this!

Happy Birthday?

I made a cake (why -I don't know since I still have baby weight to lose) and Jaxon insisted on putting "tan-dles" on it. We sang Happy Birthday, he blew out the candles and then shouted, "I WANT TATE! (cake)" His birthday was back in January but oh well! It made for a cute picture opportunity. Speaking of cute picture opportunities...
