Christmas is Coming!

Every year since Jason and I have been married, I've always sent out Christmas cards and always used shutterfly to create them. It's easy to use and there are literally thousands of designs to choose from. Shutterfly has a holiday card promotion for anyone who has a blog. If you follow a few simple guidelines, you get 50 free cards!

The year Jaxon was born I used Shutterfly to create a card that had eight pictures chronicling his first year of life. I had a picture of bringing him home from the hospital, pictures through the summer, Halloween, eating baby food for the first time and finally a picture of him wearing a Santa hat. Before that, I used shutterfly to use our wedding picture for our first Christmas card as husband and wife! I have even helped my mom create her Christmas cards using Shutterfly the past few years.

Shutterfly has many items: Christmas cards, holiday cards , Christmas photo cards , desk calendars , photo mugs , and even birthday cards

My favorite one for this year is this card. Merry Christmas everyone!

The World's Smallest Ponytail!

With a lot of gel and hairspray, I managed to get a tiny ponytail in Kendall's hair. Finally!

Halloween 2010

Our little cowboy and cowgirl! We went to Uncle Craig's neighborhood to do some trick or treating and have dinner.
Mema helping Kendall trick or treat.

The very first house they have ever trick or treated at! The past 3 years we went to church on Halloween.

Kendall getting a ride.

Posing with Corah and making silly faces!

Teddy Bear Day

Jaxon's pre-school class had "teddy bear day" and I volunteered to bring some special snacks for the class. His teacher let Kendall participate the whole day. She loved it!

Jaxon shared his Build a Bear. Of sourse Mr. Shy wouldn't smile for my pictures.

Kendall shared her pink bear.

They had a teddy bear picnic.

I brought Teddy Bear sandwiches, Teddy Bear cookies, and blueberries (because real bears eat berries in the forest!) Jaxon already had taken a big bite out of his sandwich.

Pumpkin Patch/Kendall's Birthday

We went to the Cal Poly Pumpkin Patch. We couldn't stay long because it started raining that day!

On the way home, we had dinner at Claim Jumper because Jaxon had a free kid's meal coupon from pre-school. Since the next day was Kendall's birthday, she got a cupcake! Exactly two years ago from that night, we were at the same Claim Jumper and I was in labor. We had to tell the waiter to HURRY back with the check. We rushed home, went to the hospital and our little Kendall was born early the next morning.
Our little cowgirl got to ride a pony for her birthday!

She got a Barbie bike for her birthday...she looks too little to ride a bike!

Girls' Vegas Trip

Some of the girls in my family went to Las Vegas to celebrate cousin Jeanne's birthday (her 29th birthday, of course!) We had a great time and spent the whole weekend laughing and having fun together. We can't wait to meet up again next year!

Evening at the Fair

Jason and I took the kids to the fair. We did the traditional fair stuff like see the farm animals, eat junk food and went on a few rides. (not us, thank goodness, just Jaxon and Kendall)

Jason wanted to try chocolate covered bacon!!

I would never let my kids eat chocolate covered bacon! Oh, wait, never mind:)

We got to see the baby cow drink it's "ba ba".

They loved the rides!

Haircut #2 and Big Boy Bed

Kendall got her second haircut even though her hair grows very slow, like her mother's! She was a very good girl and sat as still as a statue.

In other news, Jaxon got a Big Boy Bed! We turned his toddler bed into a full size bed. Of course these two had to do some goofing around before we set everything up!

Looking so grown up!

Angel Game

Daddy and Uncle Ra-Ra took Jaxon to his first baseball game. Jaxon's favorite part of the evening was the food (of course!). It was "hat night" so everyone got a free Angel's hat.

Summer Adventures

These two cuties have been to a few fun places this summer!

At the beginning of July, I took the kids to Pretend City in Irvine. It's a very cool children's museum with lots to do and "pretend" with.

Dressing up like a police man.

Jaxon's favorite part was working in the grocery store.

Dancing on the stage.

Driving a car...Kendall is not picking her nose, just her teeth!

Browsing in the grocery store.

Working at a construction site.

Long Beach Aquarium was next!

Watching the rays.

Holding on to a shark tail!

Smiling with the fishies.

Too busy looking at the fish to pose for Mom and Mema's cameras.

Touching starfish.

Kendall's turn!

Looking tired and ready to head home!

Visiting Grandpa at his machine shop!

Sitting on the fork lift.

Grandpa showing how things work.

Another adventure...Lake Mead!

Swimmin' with Daddy. (gotta have shades!)

Why can't I get a picture of my family where the kids are looking??

Kendall driving the boat...good thing Jaxon was taking a nap or he would would have never allowed this!

If Kendall would have looked, I could have this as my Christmas card picture:)

Jaxon "swimming" to Dad.

Made it to safety!

Our little punkin pie flying high!
Hopefully we will have lots more adventures to come!!
